Presale and reduced price
What does Presale mean?
Presale is the sales phase in which a recently acquired vehicle, motorhome or item of equipment is offered for purchase before its intake, inspection, documentation and transport process to our logistics centre has been fully completed.
Why is the Presale price reduced?
During the Presale phase, selected vehicles, motorhomes and equipment receive a discount of 5% to 25%, depending on the individual listing. The price advantage is possible because the customer purchases before the complete logistics process and before the later regular sale or auction phase. The applicable discount and price are shown directly on the listing.
Does the reduced price mean that the listing has problems?
No. We do not acquire vehicles, motorhomes or equipment with known serious damage or known significant technical defects for resale. Every listing is checked and tested and receives a final inspection before delivery or collection. All vehicles and motorhomes are handed over with a newly completed HU (commonly called TÜV) when registered in Germany or a new MFK when registered in Switzerland. Equipment receives the technical inspection and documentation required for its type.
Is the listing already at your location during Presale?
No. During active Presale, the vehicle, motorhome or equipment is still in the logistics phase and is going through the intake, inspection, documentation and transport process to our logistics centre.
Can I inspect or test a Presale listing?
During active Presale, a spontaneous inspection, test drive or demonstration is generally not yet possible because the logistics and inspection process is still underway. On request, we provide the available photographs, documents and video material where available.
How do I purchase a listing during Presale?
Select Buy Now on the listing and submit your complete buyer and verification information. After review, the sales agreement is prepared and released on your private transaction page. You review and sign the agreement, after which the invoice containing the authorised payment details is issued.
Do I have to pay before receiving the sales agreement?
No. Payment is never requested before you receive and review the sales agreement. Payment is made only after the agreement has been signed and accepted and the official invoice has been issued.
Do I pay a deposit or the full price?
The normal Presale process does not use a 10% or 20% deposit. After the agreement, the invoice is issued for the complete agreed purchase price, including the selected delivery charge. A partial payment applies only when expressly agreed in writing.
What happens after payment is confirmed?
After cleared payment is confirmed, the vehicle, motorhome or equipment is reserved exclusively for you and removed from further sale. The remaining inspection, documentation and preparation steps are then completed and delivery or personal collection is arranged.
What happens if the listing is not sold during Presale?
After the logistics, inspection and documentation process has been completed, the vehicle, motorhome or equipment may proceed to an auction or the next regular sales phase. It may then be offered and sold at a different price.
Can I reserve the Presale price for later?
No. The reduced price applies only during the active Presale phase. Without a completed agreement and confirmed payment, the vehicle, motorhome or equipment cannot be held indefinitely and the Presale price cannot be guaranteed for a later sales phase.
Buying and bidding
How do I start a Buy Now request?
Open the required listing and select Buy Now. Submit your complete buyer and identity details. The request is reviewed first; no payment is due at this stage.
How does an auction work?
Enter at least the displayed minimum bid together with your contact information. A winning bidder receives confirmation and a private transaction link. A successful bid is subject to the published listing terms. After every bid you receive a confirmation email with a private link to follow the auction and the status of your bid.
Do I need a customer account?
No. Enquiries, bids and purchases do not require a customer account. Confidential steps are accessed through an individual private link.
Can a company purchase at the price excluding VAT?
Yes, if you buy as a company in the purchase form and enter your VAT ID. You then pay the price and the delivery charge without VAT; the net amount is shown in the purchase form, the sales agreement and the invoice. Companies without a VAT ID pay the final price including VAT, like private buyers. For listings identified as sold under the margin scheme, all buyers pay the displayed final price.
What happens if I am outbid?
As soon as another bidder places a higher bid, you receive an email at the address you provided. You can use your private link to place a new bid until the auction ends. Each new bid must reach at least the current highest bid plus the displayed minimum increment.
Can I retract a bid?
A bid cannot be withdrawn or changed through the website. If you made an input error, please contact us immediately, stating the listing and your bid; we will review the case. Your statutory right of withdrawal as a consumer after a contract has been concluded remains unaffected.
When does an auction end and what happens next?
The auction ends exactly at the time shown on the listing; late bids do not extend it. No further bids are accepted afterwards. No sales agreement is concluded automatically when the auction ends: we review the bids and may accept or reject a bid. If your bid is accepted, you will be asked by email and on your private link to complete buyer verification, after which you receive the sales agreement.
Can I buy from abroad?
Yes. Export or temporary plates may be required to transfer the vehicle, and registration follows the rules of your country. For deliveries to countries outside the EU, customs duties and import charges are usually payable in the country of destination. Costs and formalities for plates, customs, transfer and registration are borne by the buyer unless otherwise agreed.
Verification and documents
Why is an identity document required?
It is used for buyer verification, fraud prevention and accurate contract preparation. It remains in the protected transaction area and is never displayed publicly.
When will I receive the sales agreement?
After successful verification, the seller prepares the agreement in the selected language and releases it on the private transaction page.
Can I sign the agreement online?
Yes. You review the complete agreement, draw your electronic signature and confirm acceptance. The seller reviews the submission before releasing the invoice.
When is the invoice displayed?
The invoice and authorised bank details are released only after the seller accepts the signed agreement.
Which vehicle documents do I receive and when?
Depending on the item, you receive the registration certificate Part II (Zulassungsbescheinigung Teil II), the EC certificate of conformity (COC), available service and maintenance records, operating manuals and all available keys. These are handed over or dispatched only after full and confirmed receipt of payment, at collection or delivery. The sales agreement and invoice are also available as PDF documents on your private transaction page.
Payment and security
How is payment made?
Payments are accepted by bank transfer only. Use the unique invoice reference shown after purchase.
Where can I find the valid bank account?
Only on the released invoice and, at the same time, on your private transaction page. Never use bank details received through an unverified message.
How is my payment confirmed?
After the transfer, upload payment proof. Payment is confirmed only after the seller reviews the document and the cleared funds.
Which prices are displayed?
The public asking price is the final item price including statutory VAT; any discount is already deducted. The net price excluding VAT is also shown, except for margin scheme listings. Selected delivery charges are shown separately. Private buyers and companies without a VAT ID pay the final price and the delivery charge as shown; companies with a VAT ID pay both without VAT. VAT is never added on top. The purchase form shows the total for your buyer type.
What are the payment and collection deadlines?
Payment is due within 2 days of the invoice date unless the sales agreement states a different period. Collection takes place by appointment after payment confirmation within the period stated in the listing or sales agreement, or otherwise within 30 days after payment confirmation. After the collection period, a storage fee as stated in the sales agreement may be charged.
How can I check that a message really comes from you?
You receive bank details only through the released invoice and your private transaction page on this website. Never pay to any other account, even if an email, text message or chat message claims to come from us or announces "changed bank details". We never ask for payment by voucher or gift card, cryptocurrency or cash transfer service. If in doubt, call us before paying on the phone number stated in the Imprint, not on a number taken from the suspicious message.
Inspection, delivery and withdrawal
Can I inspect the vehicle or equipment?
Inspections are available by appointment when specified on the listing. Contact us before bidding or purchasing.
Which delivery options are available?
Depending on the order, you can select standard delivery, express delivery or personal pickup. Standard delivery takes approximately 21 days and express delivery approximately 7 days. Personal pickup is available exclusively from our company headquarters in Germany and takes place by appointment after the agreement has been signed and payment confirmed. For handover at any other location, standard or express delivery must be selected. The cost of the selected option is shown in the order form.
Who coordinates handover?
Collection and shipping responsibilities are shown on every listing. Our team can coordinate with your carrier when requested.
Can I withdraw my request?
A non-binding purchase request may be withdrawn before signing the agreement. After signature or payment, the agreement, published terms and mandatory consumer rights apply, in particular the statutory right of withdrawal for consumers.
Is a test drive or inspection possible before buying?
Inspections are possible by prior appointment where stated on the listing. Whether a test drive is possible depends on the individual vehicle (for example registration, plates and insurance) and must be agreed with us in advance; please bring a valid driving licence and an identity document. Before bidding or buying you can also request additional photos, videos or documents.
Do I have a 14-day right of withdrawal?
As a consumer, you have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days from receipt of the item when the purchase is concluded exclusively by means of distance communication (website, email, telephone, electronic signature). This also applies after an online auction. Details, in particular on returning the item and return costs, and the model withdrawal form are provided in the withdrawal information in our Terms & conditions. Businesses have no statutory right of withdrawal.
Which warranty applies?
For consumers, the statutory defect rights of two years from handover apply. For used items, this period can only be shortened if a period of at least one year has been expressly and separately agreed in the sales agreement. For businesses, used items are sold without warranty unless the sales agreement provides otherwise. Liability for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body and health always remains unaffected. An additional guarantee applies only if it is expressly stated in the listing or sales agreement.
